Twenty years ago Crossbeam started with one crew, one truck, and one conviction: a builder should see further than the client's sketch. Four hundred projects later, that's still the whole business — ideas worth building, built exactly.
The story
Ideas, with a level in hand.
Every builder says "quality." Fewer can stand in your unfinished basement and see the legal suite that pays your property taxes, or look at your garage and see the carriage home your parents retire into. That's the part of contracting we fell in love with — the moment a property's next chapter becomes obvious to everyone in the room.
The other part is discipline. Vision without execution is a sketchbook. So we bound every idea to a fixed scope, a real schedule, and a number that holds — and we've kept those promises across Calgary and its surrounding towns for two decades.

The drawing is the promise
As drawn, so built. What you approve on paper is what gets built, to the line — and if the field teaches us something better, you approve the change before it happens.

Our core trades have been with us for over a decade. The framer who sets your walls set walls on our projects in 2012 — that's why they're straight.

During the build and years after. A renovation is a relationship with your house; we act like we're part of it, because we are.

Calgary is our job site.
We know which inner-city lanes flood in June, which Okotoks neighbourhoods sit on clay, and which building inspectors want the engineer on site. Twenty years in one region turns into a thousand small advantages your project inherits on day one.
